Chia Yi Steel is one of the professional and leading casting companies in Taiwan, and Chung Yo was one of the divisions of Chia Yi steel, set up in 2015 January. In the same year, we constructed our 1st atomizer equipment for research purposes. After running the powder division for 4 years, we realized that metal powder is capable to create more possibilities in business, therefore, Chia Yi Steel decided to span off the powder division to a new company “ CHUNG YO MATERIALS ”
2015~2017
- 2015, New Material division of CYS established.
- 2016, Successively established and constructed two sets of 120 kg of mass production gas atomization equipment.
- Biomedical Cobalt based powder passed ISO 10993.
- new technology “Crucible Free Atomizer”.
- 2017, Biomedical Titanium alloy powder passed ISO 10993.
2018~2019
- 2018, High-entropy alloy powder started mass production and shipment.
- Magnetic alloy and target powder started mass production and shipment.
- August, Chung Yo Materials established.
- 2019, attended the Shanghai TCT 3D Exhibition.
- November, attended the Fromnext 2019 exhibition in Germany.
2020~2022
- 2021 March, the new plant in the Kaohsiung Science Park began operations.
- 2021,Obtained the ISO 9001 certification.
- 2021, attended Taiwan 3DP, and SEMICON exhibition in Taipei.
- 2022, Obtained ISO 13485 certification
- 2022, Built HP furance system.
